Brilliant Patterns was founded to continuously ask, “what problem are we trying to solve?” before we leap into action. We believe technology can help solve some problems & build capacity, but we are intentional about how and where to implement.

What we’re built on
Intentional Friction
Sometimes we can’t see the first step right in front of us, are not sure who to talk to, or might believe we’ve “capped” out our support. We value taking the awkward, sometimes uncomfortable step, to move forward. Growth takes friction.

Passionate About Learning & Change
Courtney B.
Courtney studied has worked in social impact spaces for over 10 years. She fell in love with the idea of learning and behavior change after she joined her rugby team and struggled to learn the sport. Out of shape and surviving in a competitive environment, she learned about health and nutrition, lost weight, and eventually made Select Sides. Her major changed from engineering and went on to study psychology, public health, learning and product design, and she dedicated her career to learning and behavior change for individuals and organizations.
