A Blueprint built from your answers

A 15–25 page personal development plan, yours to work through on your own or bring into sessions with a coach, therapist, or mentor.

wHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

We start with what’s in the way

Most advice ignores your environment. We look at what your specific situation is supporting or blocking, then building strategies around that picture. Which is why the recommendations tend to feel specific in a way that other advice doesn’t.

Built from your answers, not a template
Two people with the same goal get different Blueprints. The strategies account for your specific situation and whole self.

Built from your strengths, not against your limitations
The map we build uses what you already have. The strategies are designed around your existing strengths, not an idealized version of your situation.

Trauma-informed throughout
The analysis accounts for how psychological safety affects the ability to learn and change.

Designed to work alongside professional support
Every Blueprint includes a section built for bringing into sessions with a coach, therapist, or mentor. A starting point and a working document.

About

Why I built this

I’m a current athlete who has navigated trying to stay in a sport while managing an environment that had become genuinely difficult, competitive dynamics that made showing up feel costly, a relationship with competition that had shifted from something I loved to something I was just surviving. I was trying to push through it and what I needed was a clear picture of what was happening and strategies that fit my specific situation.

That experience is what eventually became Brilliant Patterns. I have a background in psychology, public health, and learning and development, with specific training in trauma-informed and equity-centered approaches, and I’ve spent years working on the question of what people to learn, know, or do to shift through moments of change. move through it. The Blueprints are built from that work.

They’re not therapy and they’re not coaching. They’re a way to find where you’re stuck, map a way through it, and get a plan that accounts for your constraints, including the ones that are hard to name.
